This week we delve into the feeling of being lost. In a year that feels like "The Year of the Lost" for so many of us, we will use the story of how the Good Shepherd left the 99 to go find the one lost sheep. Through this story, we will explore how the Christmas story is the announcement of God's Rescue Operation to bring home all his lost sheep.
Please join us for our online services for Christmas this year! And even though we will be watching digitally, you can invite your friends and family to join you. Go to our website http://menlo.church to find digital invitations, which you can send to your friends and let them know when you will be watching!

As we wrap up our study of Acts, we are living proof later that the church is unstoppable. Two thousand years later, we are part of the greatest human movement in history. So what's next? Watch this message to explore how we can continue the work of spreading the good news of God’s grace to the ends of the earth.
To grow in your relationship with Jesus and help lead this movement, pick one thing that challenges you this week: share your faith with someone, give your time or money to a good cause, or care for someone in need.

First Things First: Welcome | Eugene Lee
Monday Nov 16, 2020
Monday Nov 16, 2020
As the first church began to grow and include people from different backgrounds, the early disciples had to confront their own thinking and see that God’s grace was available to anyone and everyone. Through honest discussions and prayer, the disciples learned what it would take to be a radically inclusive community. Today, we explore the idea that the church doesn’t exist for itself, but for others.
Think about who you can you offer radical acceptance to in your everyday life. And, this week, make the effort to extend a welcome to someone outside your circle.

First Things First: Grace | Eugene Lee
Monday Nov 09, 2020
Monday Nov 09, 2020
Regardless of who won or lost the election, the church wins or loses based on how followers of Jesus love others. For Christians, it's not ultimately about who's in leadership, it's about who we ultimately follow. It's about discipleship and apprenticeship to Jesus. In this talk, we explore how we are called to love others, even in these divided times.
Who do you need to show kindness to today? Who can you show radical acceptance to this week? We invite you to pray about who you want to be a blessing to this week and that each of us will be a blessing to our neighbors.

First Things First: Mission vs Ego | Adam Hendrix

Monday Nov 02, 2020
Most of us want to be a part of something big and great. We want to be a part of a group that is on mission—changing the world for the better. We want to make a difference. The problem is, to pursue a mission, we have to set our egos aside. The first church shows us how to lay down our egos for the sake of the mission, serving others instead of serving ourselves.

God's plan for bringing his Kingdom here on earth is the Church; a community of imperfect people gathered together to spur one another on toward love and good deeds. In today's message, we'll unpack a few verses from Acts 2 that describe a world-transforming community.
The mission of Menlo Church is to help people find and follow Jesus and we believe that happens best in a group. During this time of shelter in place, Life Groups are still meeting virtually. We'd love to help you get connected! Join a Life group here: http://menlo.church/groups
