Jesus tells us to go and be his witnesses, but what is the message that we’re supposed to share? This week, we’re talking about the Gospel to understand more fully what it means and why it is good news for our world today. We will also explore how the Gospel forces us to ask the question, “Who is reigning over our lives?” Spend some time thinking about how you would answer the questions, “Why is the Gospel good news to me?”

Does the word evangelism disturb you? Does it bring to mind obnoxious people forcing their faith upon others? This week we begin a six week series on this difficult topic and get to look ahead with one of the masterminds behind the series, Brett Koerten. We look at what Jesus said about being a witness, why it doesn’t have to be an uncomfortable topic, and why it might even be something that gives you great delight. Would You Rather Be a Slave or a Leper? | John Crosby
Sunday May 01, 2022
Sunday May 01, 2022
In this sermon, we explore the story of Naaman, a young woman who cares for a needy person, which shows how God acts through unlikely people. We'll think about how Naaman is in some ways just like you. Who do you see around you that’s hurting or might feel as though they’re on the outside looking in? Think about how you can be an unlikely witness like Naaman.

Wednesday Apr 27, 2022
Wednesday Apr 27, 2022
This week we chat with Brett Koerten (bkoerten@menlo.church) to further explore what a truly multi-generational church can be. We are going to look at Jesus’s example as he walked along people's path with them, to see how we can be a church that joins the next generation on their path—helping them discover that Jesus has a spot prepared for them at his table.

Around the Table: With the Next Generation | Brett Koerten
Monday Apr 25, 2022
Monday Apr 25, 2022
For the past seven weeks, we’ve been feasting with Jesus. We saw him go to the table of outcasts, doubters, and people in need to let them know they have a place at his table. In this talk, we are going to look at Jesus’s example as he walked along people's path with them, to see how we can be a church that joins the next generation on their path—helping them discover that Jesus has a spot prepared for them at his table.
Do you know a student whose path you can be on with them? Pray for them to rely on Jesus. And pray they know they are fully known and loved by Jesus. If you don’t know a student, go to http://menlo.church/studentprayer and get the name of a student in one of our programs to pray for!

Menlo Midweek: Easter Message | Jesus, the Resurrected Savior | John Crosby
Wednesday Apr 20, 2022
Wednesday Apr 20, 2022
We recap Easter, Holy Week, and further discuss the last meal of Jesus in the New Testament, when the disciples learn the most important lesson of faith. We look at how Jesus’s food provision for people who have failed and abandoned him gives hope to all of us. Join us in this conversation as we explore what it means to find and follow Jesus, leaning into love rather than performance. If responding to the love of God is the core of our lives, think about how you would respond to Jesus if he asked you the question, “Do you love me?”

For over 40 years, Menlo Church has dedicated our Easter Offering as an above-and-beyond gift to address an urgent need. This year, your gifts to the Easter Offering will support Afghans and Ukrainians who have had to flee their homes this past year. Your donations will support organizations who are helping Ukrainian refugees now and long-term, as well as providing housing support for Afghan refugees arriving in the Bay Area. To help support refugees, go to http://menlo.church/give and choose the Easter Offering option.
