Drawing from Matthew 6:5-8, we examine the dangers of performing prayers for public recognition or engaging in empty repetition. Menlo Church isn’t merely a collection of buildings, campuses, or pastors; it’s an enduring community of Jesus followers who have maintained the mission of helping people find and follow Jesus as their central focus for generation after generation. Together, we will emphasize the significance of recalling that mission today and explore what faithfulness to that call means for each of us in our current moment.
